Holly Hill Ribbon Cutting January 25th For New Facility "The Cottage a Courtyard Community"

We took a tour of the 26 bed Blocked Memory Care Facility. Shannon Bridges, Courtyard Coordinator, Kevin Boisseau, Administrator with Holly Hill and Rosewood Facilities and the all the staff have a very special passion for the elderly who may be suffering with memory loss. They provide much more than just nursing care, because they understand that physical, mental and spiritual needs will change as the loved one's journey progresses. Their focus is to help the loved one find fulfillment and motivation in a comfortable, safe and nuturing environment.
All of the staff, not just direct care staff, are trained in dementia care, including parallel programming (varying degrees of activity to different levels of functionality), safety concerns and special needs of the population.
