Responsibilities: Support current members and encourage greater stakeholder involvement, participation and visibility in Chamber activities through networking, marketing and lead generation. Call on new members. Connect with past due members to understand their needs and how the Chamber can fill those needs. Lead planning of the Chamber Business Walks and Business After Hours. This is a highly visible and active committee.

Responsibilities: The Event Committee is a fun way to get involved. This committee helps put in motion business-promoting events such as: Monthly Business Luncheons, Empowering Women's Luncheons, Chamber Fest, Bob Hardey Golf Tournament, Annual Banquet and other events throughout the year. This is a highly visible and active subcommittee
- This committee meets on the first Thursday of each month, January through November, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. The meetings are held at the West Cal Chamber office, located at 1300 E. Napoleon Street in Sulphur.
Chair: Anne Klenke with Visit Lake Charles
Responsibilities: Economic Development - Serving as a conduit between the commercial economic interests in the West Calcasieu area. Encouraging the economic well-being and expansion of the existing commercial businesses located within the West Calcasieu area. Attracting complementary businesses to town to enhance the current economic prosperity within the community. Responsibly assisting in developing properties within West Calcasieu Area in an effort to improve the aesthetics of the town while providing additional revenue.
Workforce/Education Committee - The second focus of the committee is to involve West Cal students in projects that prepare them to move to the next level of their education or into the workforce. An example of this is our annual Master Your Future conference. This half-day conference targets West Calcasieu High School juniors and seniors with informational and educational workshops on areas critical to preparing students for post-high school success and career development, whether that be continued education or immediate workforce entry.
